Meditation
Helpful Heart offered tips for reducing stress. We explain to our patient how meditation might help them maintain a healthy lifestyle. We provide fundamental guidance to set you on the road to greater calm, acceptance, and joy. Breathe deeply, then prepare to relax. The body scan, walking meditation, and mindful eating are just a few of the tasks for which we have prepared guided meditations. Every exercise of applied mindfulness “brings alive an experience that could be more routine otherwise.”
You can meditate mindfully on your own at any time and any place. However, it can also be helpful to attend to simple guided meditations, especially when first starting. We can be reminded to return to the present now, let go of distracting ideas, and not be so hard on ourselves by instructions from an experienced doctor.
